This is the gift I made her. One thing I always regretted was not getting hope’s footprints and handprints when we got home from the hospital. I made a small chipboard album that she can add pictures to as well as do the handprints and footprints of baby brody. Along with it I gave her a baby safe stamp pad. I made this card to match her album.

I have a darling friend named chante who is pregnant with a little boy! She is absolutely darling and I was so excited that she was having a shower! Those of you who know my obsession with parties, I love to see the fun and creative games and ideas that people come up with. The shower was so cute and we did a matching game that was super creative and each match went along with a candy bar, and whoever got the match received that candy bar that went along with that match. The shower was a great success and it was so fun to get together with the girls and just gab about babies and having babies and all the craziness that comes in that tiny package. Chante is so stinking cute and I can’t wait to see this new little bundle of joy!

Grandma Lois's 90th Birthday and Date Night

Today was Grandma Lois’s 90th Birthday party! She is such a doll and is always so kind to everyone. She still lives on her own and is still kicking butt. She loves to scrapbook and loves loves loves her car! She is the sweetest most humble lady and I just adore her. It was so great to see so many people who care about her there to celebrate with her and to enjoy the company of extended family and friends.
After the party we went on a double date with our good friends the Smith’s to the temple. As a new years resolution we are trying to make it there more often, and what better way than to go with good friends! Afterwards we went to dinner at Olive Garden. It was so nice to go out on a double date with friends.

Sunday Dinner

Hope did not want to share!

Kenzie was so sweet to sit and read to Hope!
We went to Brent and Tineke’s house for Sunday dinner. Joe’s mom is such a great cook, and we love getting together with family. Brent and Tineke do this adventurous thing where they decide they are going on a trip, then they get in the car and just go. They have no idea where they will end up and they just have a blast. While they were on their trip they missed Hope’s birthday so they were so sweet to bring her back present and they sang happy birthday to her while she opened it! It was so cute, they gave her this great laptop which she won’t put down. she checks her emails, learns letters and sings along with it. While on their adventures they always bring back a little something for each of the grandkids. Hope got a tinkerbell doll that had a matching ring! She is so spoiled! So just a great night, with great food, and great company.
