Carter’s Blessing

Carter was blessed today! It was so cute, but little miss hope was so loud during church! It made me realize how loud our ward is, because she usually seems really quiet in church, but their ward had hardly any children, and ours has loads of them! I felt bad, but other people said they hadn’t noticed, so I was really relieved. The food was so yummy! I love blessings, and carter looked so cute in his little white outfit! Also it was fun to hang out with our darling friends Cara, Will, & Lincoln. Cara and I are great friends and it’s the best because we work together! She is such a sweetie, an incredible mom, takes the most incredible photos, and is extremely crafty! (She is the one who took Hope’s pictures on our first post.) We have a lot of good times at work, so it makes the time go by so fast.

Daxton's Birthday

Today was our nephew Daxton’s birthday party. He is so cute, and he and hope are the best of friends. They get so excited when they see each other, it’s so cute. He loves Mickey Mouse, so my cute sis-in-law did a mickey mouse theme. Going to this party made me so excited for Hope’s coming up. I have gone all out this year, and I simply can’t wait. I love doing parties, and I know some people think I’m nuts, but it’s my hobby and I love to do it. Anyways, back to Dax’s party…the party was a great success, and Daxton is 2! SO crazy that time goes so fast, and the little ones are huge before you know it.

So this is my bestest friend in the whole wide world with her hubbie eating with us at café rio. We were so excited to see them! Miss Sara/stinky is one of those incredible people that I have in my life. No matter what, I know I can always count on her and that she will always love me. She is by far one of the best blessings that Heavenly Father has given to me, and I don’t know what I would do without her. We talk nearly every day, but she lives in bountiful and I live in provo, so it’s hard for us to get together sometimes with the 90 minute drive between us. Also joe and I don’t get off work until 7 most nights, so by the time we drove up there, we would have to turn around and go home to get hope to bed on time. But despite the distance between us, Stinky and I will always be best friends. She is just the type of person, that you know you are becoming a better person just by being around her, I love her more than I could possibly say. Sara and Brady are those incredible people that you can always be yourself around, and they have the greatest sense of humor. If someday I can grow into being half the incredible person that she is, I know I will do just fine in this world. Love ya Sara, and oh yeah…. Jibbety jibbety.

Playdate with the Smiths

So this is my darling friend Erica and her sweet baby, Carter. He is about 10 weeks old, and has the most delicious cheeks you have ever seen. She is doing a wedding shower for her cute cousin, and asked for my help to make a few things. I recently downloaded a free trial of Photoshop Elements (which I didn’t know they even had a free trial, but thanks to my darling friend anne she helped me get started with it), and I have been experimenting with making cupcake toppers and banners. It’s such an amazing program, and the best part is that it’s free! So we had the best time just playing around making cute things for this shower coming up, and if you know me, you know that recently I have this obnoxious habit of taking pictures about every 10 seconds. I absolutely love this new camera of mine, and so please excuse my flashing the camera in your face constantly, I’m sure it will slow down soon, I just am having a ball capturing amazing moments.

Our First Post!

We are Back! Well due to several friends wanting us to start blogging again, joe and I have finally caved! Well of course you know that Hope is the center of our lives, so it only seems fit that our first post should include pictures of her. I made this outfit for her with the help of my most incredible mother! We are throwing her a ladybug birthday party! She loves ladybugs, so I just had to go all out and I’m counting down the days! My incredible friend cara is the most amazing photographer and she took these for me. She always does an amazing job, but she is especially incredible because hope was quite the little stinker when she took these, and absolutely refused to smile the whole time! Thanks to cara’s incredible talent she was able to snag these amazing shots!
